Mosopefoluwa A. Lanlokun, MD

Mosopefoluwa (Sope) Lanlokun, MD, is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Allergist/Immunologist at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. After completing medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, she completed a categorical pediatric residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She then completed her fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. While in residency, she discovered her passion for the field of allergy and immunology.

Her research interests include asthma and food allergy. While in fellowship, she worked with a Quality improvement team to create and implement a virtual support group for children with severe asthma. She also conducted clinical research on variations between patients with multiple food allergies compared with those with a single food allergy. She also values health equity and looks forward to incorporating work on social determinants of health into her future research. In her free time, Lanlokun enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, as well as exploring different restaurants.
