Orquidia Torres, MD, MS is the Director of Medical Student and Resident Education in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine. Dr. Torres works closely with the trainees on the adolescent medicine rotation to oversee their teaching and evaluation. She incorporates weekly didactic and case-based learning for the trainees to reinforce core adolescent medicine knowledge. Her clinical expertise includes menstrual disorders, long-acting reversible contraception, contraception for medically complex patients, mental health, and eating disorders. She also brings expertise in media advocacy and quality improvement.
