Dr. da Silva comes to Pittsburgh to help establish the new Da Silva Center for Ebstein's Anomaly at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. da Silva is internationally recognized as the creator of the cone procedure for Ebstein's anomaly. The cone procedure has been the worldwide standard for the surgical treatment of Ebstein's anomaly for years. As part of the Heart Institute, the Da Silva Center for Ebstein's Anomaly is dedicated to the care of children and adults with congenital heart defects that involve absent or poorly functioning heart valves.
