As Director of Clinical Operations for the Pediatric Sedation Service at CHP, Dr. Isabela (Cajiao) Angelelli strives for excellence in service through the incorporation of minimal sedation techniques and high-value care sedation practices. She is also skilled in pediatric emergency medicine and serves as an advisor for the Latin-American Medical Student Association (LMS) and first-year medical students at the University of Pittsburgh. Her background includes bench research in immunogenetics at the University of Pennsylvania with Drs. Stephen Liebhaber and Nancy Cook and the Immunological Institute of Colombia with Dr. Manuel Elkin Patarroyo. Dr. Angelelli is also a community and environmental advocate, leading reforestation efforts in the city and its surroundings and serving as the Director for the CHP Green Team.
