Inclusion of Anti-Ableism in Professional Health Education

In 2021, the NIH created a subgroup focused on disability inclusion, eradicating ableism, and overcoming barriers for individuals with disabilities in care seeking and research. This session explores the potential applicability of NIH initiatives to eliminate ableism in health curricula, prompting health professionals to assess and integrate these efforts.
